Currently in production,'History of The World' is a six episode comedy series for TV starring 'Warren Clarke' (Dalziel & Pascoe, A Clockwork Orange, Down to Earth, Blackadder The Third, Boon) etc etc.A wacky comedy about George & Bertie and the Great Controller, residing on earth in a flat that is really their space ship. They are in fact aliens, thousands of years old who have controlled all of the worlds events since time began. good and bad, sensibly and recklessly.Warren excels as George, he also sings the theme. Supported by Patrick Lunt as Bertie, Frank Jakeman as The Great Controller & Iain Dawson as The Baker, the series cleverly encompasses numerous historical events and just how they might have been created by George & Bertie's frivolous behavior!
